CASE: Zoki—A Social Assistant, In Mobile Devices

As a demonstration of mobile measurement capabilities, Arbitron Mobile piloted its own social media application called Social Media Assistant—an “automatic Twitter” that gathered information on mobile phone usage while serving as a productivity tool when people engaged with social media. People could share their everyday events and behavior to social media services, either automatically or alternatively through smart suggestions that the service provided by observing users’ lives. To some extent, the application showcased what could be done with the SDK and the data for the benefit of end users.
